Carrigan Silage
About Carrigan Silage
Carrigan Silage is a family-owned business operated by Andrew Carrigan and family. We are based on the Darling Downs and have been producers of silage since the late 80’s.
We bought our first self-propelled forage harvester in 1992, a Claas 690 which was able to cater for our lot feeding operations.
During the late 80’s and early 90’s very little information was available regarding the ensiling process, however the experience gained during this time remains invaluable to us.
We are also consumers of silage, feeding up to ten thousand ton each year. We have grown the crops, harvested them and then fed the silage through our own feedlot.
We are coming from the same side of the fence as our customers, and this is why we continue to measure our performance by the quality of our product.
